We find that students are most successful when they receive regular exposure to the material through tutoring and independent practice. Our scheduling and cancellation policies are in place to reflect and enforce this belief.
SCHEDULING
When we schedule a weekly appointment, we hold the same time every week for each student unless otherwise specified. Please contact us early to secure a weekly meeting time that fits your child’s schedule.
WEEKENDS
As Saturday and Sunday appointments are often in high demand, we ask that clients who reserve weekend slots commit to at least 3 weekend sessions per month. Failure to do so may result in forfeiture of the weekly appointment time.
CANCELLATIONS
In order to maintain scheduling flexibility for all of our students, we request 24 hours’ notice for all cancellations or scheduling adjustments. Except in the case of emergency (illness, illness of a family member, or death in the family), sessions cancelled within 24 hours will be subject to a fee equivalent to the cost of the session. Independent of the reason for cancellation, no-shows will be subject to a fee equivalent to the cost of the session.
RESCHEDULING
While we make every effort to accommodate requests for make-up sessions, we cannot guarantee that a slot will be available.
